It’s almost Advent.
This year, in the winter of 2025, we are experiencing a season of great change and uncertainty. Expectation can be like that…we may feel a bit lost, confused, or anxious. We may also feel fired up, on alert, and ready to run or fight. This Advent practice invites you to embark on a journey with God that will help us settle, feel safe, and find connection with unconditional love.
We are co-creating a mural of Advent Windows to help us journey all the way to Christmas sharing the beauty and wisdom of our own reflections and creative expression. You are probably familiar with the Advent calendars you can purchase that count down the days of Advent until Christmas Eve with a window to lift open and reveal something hidden beneath. Sometimes there is an image revealed, or a piece of chocolate to mark each day.
This year, we will create our own Advent ‘windows’ to open and everyone can participate! You will receive a reflection for each Sunday in Advent and a card to decorate and write in.
